Watch D.O.G.S

(Dads Of Great Students) ... is an innovative father involvement, educational initiative of the National Center For Fathering. There are two primary goals of the WATCH D.O.G.S. program.

1) To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important.

2) To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.

Thank you all for expressing interest in WATCH D.O.G.S. This program is truly a rewarding experience that benefits the growth of your student. Your time is invaluable to those effected by it.

Please take a look at the school website for upcoming points of interest. It is informative in which days to calendar for and which to avoid; e.g. observed holidays and school breaks. Just know the moments you spend encouraging and supporting a positive atmosphere is as exciting to them as any event.

There will be future alternatives to how you can schedule your time. We acknowledge the difficulty in making sign up within the school's hours. For the time being, send an email to Ken or myself with the following info; involvement date, your full name, your student's name, and their teacher's name. We can complete the process for you, until we streamline a more viable solution. We are hopeful in your commitment and look forward in seeing you with that WATCH D.O.G.S. Badge on.

We are always looking for new members to join our group of D.O.G.S. please complete the Registration Form and return it to the school office, or fax it back to 530.626.3144. For more information contact the school office @ 530.626.3160, or Haans Bergquist @
